The great land between the two rivers, Mesopotamia in Greek or بلاد ما بين ألنهرين, in Arabic, is known today as modern-day Iraq and is often referred to as the “Cradle of Civilization”. Here, the first cities such as the majestic Uruk and Ur emerged, it’s the home for one of the world’s earliest writing systems, cuneiform, and one of the earliest sets of written laws, The Code of Hammurabi. The world wouldn’t be where it is today without the inventions and discoveries of the people of Ancient Iraq, and we are here to bring their legacy back to life.
We wanted to create a game that would remind the people of Iraq of their great past and inspire them to continue what their ancestors built as the foundation to the modern day world.
In creating The Distinguished, we were inspired by the rich cultural and historical heritage of Iraq, such Ancient Mesopotamia, to offer players a truly localized experience.
